Here is an “Oldie” but definitely a “Goodie” picture of an Appaloosa gelding adding his
splendid color pattern to an already colorful Fall scene.
This is Silver Time-X bred & owned by Wes & Joanne Moody, New Vineyard, ME.
Wes was one of the founding members of the Maine ApHC and was serving on the
Board of Directors when the Certificate of Organization of a Corporation was issued to
the Maine ApHC by the State of Maine & signed on April 29, 1970.
The 1981 gelding was sired by Silver Time who was owned by the FGF Syndicate &
stood at Fleming Farms in Suffield, CT. Silver Time was sired by It’s About Time [a
Prince Plaudit son] and out of Mighty Silver Ute [a daughter of Mighty Bright]. Wes &
Joanne owned his dam, S.W.’s High Hope [Horseshoe’s Taytoba x Chief’s Feather].
